Is it worth it? I don 't have that many games..
Unless you have plenty of online games, no. It still isn't even that worth it unless you have some friends you'll be able to play with.
The amount of games you have doesn't matter it all depends on how good the online is for the particular games you have. If you enjoy playing online with other people go for it. There are other benefits to getting Live besides playing online and that's being able to download arcade games or even full games.
I have alot of online games but mainly play cod black ops zombie mode and I want too get the new maps for it.
if you have the PC powerful enough, you save money in long haul by just getting those games on PC, having free online, and having less of kids-in-microphone syndrome.
my stance on paid online is nay. i prefer free online, like for wii or pc. ps3 online isn't really free, you have to bend to sony's whims to do it. the price of online services should be factored in when the game/system is made and sold. plus i use lt+ and would rather not pay all that money for live then get banned. they should at least give you a refund.
if im not mistaken, you make a free account and use the market place to get your maps (i may be wrong here)
if you seem to play CoD then why not i suppose.
He can buy the maps with a free Silver account but if he doesn't buy Xbox Live Gold, he can only use them for offline multiplayer
well yes of course
i think there is no more silver; it's just called Xbox Live Free - just to avoid some confusion that is.
