Should There Should be a MegaMan MMO?

I've been playing MegaMan Z, ZX, ZXA, ect... lately and realized that the map layouts and gameplay beetween the recent MegaMans and MMO's such as La Tale and Maple Story are quite similar.

Megaman Z-anything is already setup like a 2DMMO. Its got the free roaming thing, the map thing, the quest thing, exploration thing, so why not?

Because right now MMZX is looking like an MMO without the MMO part.

It will never see the light of day. Sounds like a kewl idea, so long as you don't see 10,000 Model X's, 8000 Model H's, etc. running around.

Grant, it's slanted for South Korea, it is indeed an MMO based on the X series. Nothing confirmed for anything out of South Korea. It might reach Asia; however, for other places, it all depends on Capcom and Neowiz.

I don't follow any MegaMan news. Its not exactly high on my Priority lists.

I asked if there should be an MMO while I was playing MMZ and though "Gee, this sure is quite similar to La Tale"

I personally can't see how you'd make a mmo off of the ZX series without seriously cranking down the difficulty in many areas. You'd have to crank it down in a lot of places, since the enemies are probably not as much of a problem as the stage hazards are, I'd probably think that the enemies would be stronger to encourage co-operative play in the later areas of the game.

It'd be fun as hell though, I'd love to play a megaman mmo.

i think a Megaman MMO would be really interesting, you can join a Hunter HQ and accept Missions from Signas or high rankings like X or Zero.

Make your own reploid with a sword, or a buster or anything.

different servers with different Time settings would be fun too
like maybe a Megaman Server in Megaman Classic's era (in 8bit) although im not quite sure how that would work though

a Megaman X server in X's era like i said earlier
a MMZ server in Zero's era where we're part of the resistance and we accept mission from operators
a MMZX server where we're part of the Guardians [?]

I don't know if I'd like to see a MegaMan MMO.

I love the series, but there's more than enough fanboys already.

I think it'd play more like a non-static MMO (such as FPS-style where your "upgrades" only last until you die or log out) than an MMORPG where you permanently level up and stuff.

Then again Gunz took an FPS-type thing and added leveling and equipment... hm...
