I was thinking about buying a PSP Go at the beginning of the summer because I just don't like carrying around my current PSP in my pocket along with my phone and keys and I want something with me that plays my music, a few TV shows, and games. The thing is, I currently have a PSP-2000 and have a decent amount of games for it. It would be great to dump my UMD games to a memory stick with my current PSP and then put them on a PSP Go, but for that I would need CFW on a PSP Go. Has there been any word on anyone releasing PSP Go CFW? If not, is it likely that there will be CFW by the beginning of Summer 2010? I'd love to have most of my music along with some PS1/PSP games with me.
My guess is that it will either take a long time, or never come at all.

Well, a long time is kinda vague... Do you think we will have it around July 2010? If I can't have my PS1 games like the Persona 2 games and Policenauts and my PSP games that aren't on PSN (aka Crisis Core), I don't think I'll buy a PSP Go.ZAFDeltaForce said:

I would say if the PSP Go! is likely to never be hacked. The only people skilled enough to find an exploit aren't stupid enough to release it with only a window of a few hours where the exploit will be useable (if the exploit is a game exploit).
The reason being for this is that it's uncommon to find an exploit which can be used from the XMB and the Go! doesn't have a UMD drive so the game would have to be acquired from the PS Store and Sony can remove the game as soon as it hears word of the exploit.
Although it's unfortunate I am somewhat happy Davee hasn't released his exploit. It's rubbish how he was treated like shit for no ISO support in his 5.03 HEN and he's been flamed intensely for his PSP Go! PoC hack. So many PSP owners are ungrateful little pirate turds who can't give a shit about any of the homebrew and just want custom firmware for their ISO loading needs.
