Hacking Should I upgrade to GW Ultra 3.0 if i'm on sysNAND 4.1?

Hello, i have 4.1 sysNAND with emuNAND 9.4 and Gateway 2.7, should i go for Gateway 3.0 or should i stay on 2.7? Is there any added features on GW Ultra 3.0 for under 4.5 sysNAND users?

There is actually no benefits to the 3.0 if you are on 4.5 except the better SD support. If you think one of your SDs is not working because of Gateway firmware, give it a spin.
Else, just wait for the surprise feature to reveal. You can always update so there is no point to rush if everything is working.

Yea, i'm not sure, but a browser exploit would be faster than using settings but does it work with emuNAND and under 4.5 sysNAND?

If you already have a 4.5 console, then with GW3+ you can launch the exploit both ways. Web and Profile. Handy if you have launched a DS rom and dont have the blue card handy to re-enable the profile exploit.

Exactly what i wanted to hear! I'm often playing DS Games and this would save me alot of time, but just to be sure, i just add the new gateway launcher on my SD Card and i go to the website on my sysNAND 4.1? Simple as that?

You can launch it offline from an Android phone if you have one. But yeah I think t's far more convenient to use that with the DS profile exploit even if you play DS games often.

LOL man, no I think hes on about launching DS Games from Emunand of Gateway not on his Android Mobile Phone!. I'm not sure if you can, its only for the rom menu but might work in classic mode but no point really you might as well use it on system nand and to boot back into GW Mode just use the browser hack or the Android way, where the confusion was

He means exactly this. Someone wrote an app that allows you to run the exploit by tethering to your android phone. No internet connection is actually required I believe

I'm still confused since the android app require you to visit a link to start the exploit so that mean it needs wifi to use it on sysNAND, which is the same problem as before?

Not at all.

If you disable "Spotpass" , "Send system info" and whatever else you can disable that uses wi-fi, you're good.

I've gamed onlinewith smash bros, added friends, used the exploit multiple times and alls good, no problem at all.

I believe even with Spotpass disabled it can download an update in sleep mode.
