Hacking Should I update to 11.0.0-33 (A9LH + CFW)

So, I like to not only play games online (and local Smash), but I also buy from the eShop instead of buying a cartridge. If I update my 2DS (A9LH + Luma3DS), will anything be messed up? Thanks!

Nope. Everything is fine. I have the same setup with my new 3ds.

You'll be fine. If you have A9LH, the only thing you'll have to worry about is HBL.

If you're using the cia loader, you need to rename the payload to the new version number, and that's it.

Just the HBL loader payload. Other than that everything that matters will be just as it was.

This update does these things:

patches downgrading
patches OoTHax and NinjHax
increases stability to near superhuman levels

So if you're an A9LHer, this doesn't really affect you

Also, I got a random black icon that appeared out of nowhere after updating to Luma 5.4 for firm 11.

Have no idea what that's about. It doesn't actually boot anything, just a random black icon.

just change the version number of the hb loader payload name on ur sd card.

I was on 5.4 pre-update, and I don't have a black icon. That's kind of weird. Try removing it in the System Settings

I have no idea what is causing it, so how can I delete it. Could be anything. Can't randomly delete stuff. I just opened folder and kept it in the folder along with my 3d porn vids. lol

Funny thing I have 2 consoles, a EU N3DS and an US N3DS, no black icon appeared in the US version, just the EU version. Could be something I installed ages ago and has just surfaced with the new Luma changes, who knows.
