Is there any cons to turning on AAP on all my roms?

Will some games not work with AAP on while others will?

It doesn't really make sense to do that... since most games will work without it.
If you run into a game that doesn't work, turn AAP on for that one game.

I'm confused. I thought AP was always on in the latest akAIO releases.

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
AAP is really only for new games, you don't need it on all the time and it does create problems with download play if you have it on for all the roms.
You are better off just setting it to default off, except some games.

The default is "default", meaning it'll use the global setting, so leave it like that.
