Sure, why not - they are free. [IMG]

I ordered the replacement straps and have not installed them but you never know if someday you'll need one. Maybe the cat will chew a strap or in a year the originals start to look dirty and you'll want to replace them.

They let you get "new" straps when you have new ones already? The straps have been updated since December... I got my Wii in April and didn't think I could get replacements. It even asks for your serial on the site so they can tell, don't you think?

Edit: Well, I just tried it and ordered 4 "replacements". I do have 4 remotes, but they all have the v2 straps. Of course, I took those straps off months ago 'cause they annoyed me, but I can maybe use one for a camera or something...

I had a Wii that came with good straps, but bought Wii Play afterwards that came with lame straps. So they can't tell only from the serial of your Wii if you've gotten lame straps with the ones not bundled to that Wii. But I suppose the Wii Play comes bundled with newer straps for months now too already, but it's worth the try ofcourse.

Thanks for the link. I need one for my DSLite. All my Wiimotes have the v2 straps and are perfectly fine but I better take advantage of the opportunity now.

I am going to send Nintendo Benelux an e-mail, see how they will respond!

I really have some issues with straps that are too loose around my wrist. I'm not afraid of them breaking but I am afraid of them simply slipping of my wrist!

edit: oh wait, I will need the V3 straps for that problem! If they're ever released... [IMG]

I've just ordered 4 new straps. I don't even need them but, well, they're free xD Maybe I'll use one with my DS or something.
