I'm a Menuhax peasant who currently uses ReiNand with multiple patches installed onto EmuNAND (region free cias and carts, patched twl_firm etc.), is there really any need for me to switch from Rei to Luma?

Yeah like the guy above said no. If you do want to switch though you will have to remove all the patches I think. Just go with whatever you want. Dont follow the majority if it does everything you need there is no need to change until something breaks or a new feature gets implemented to another cfw that you must have.

Active development, RetroArch works on latest firmware (afaik Reinand use a firmware.bin so it doesn't matter, does it?), "language emulation", possiblity to force games to run at 804MHz (this makes some games run way smoother), online play on older fw, etc etc etc
