for me it is more relaxed playing with a nds instead on a pc. with the ds i lay on the couch or in bed playing

.

Also for me the touchscreen gives an extra dimension to a game, but think that is personally

Go for a DSi XL if you want a big screen and not pixelated.

So the sole purpose of buying a DS is to go on vacation?

Lol wrong word..^^ xD
I meant that i don't need DS because of it portable functionality...

my question is why not get a DS? save the PC for PC games. better gaming experiences on each console, AND the fact you can go anywhere with it. Its weird, you dont realize youd take it places until you get one...

Well I think that buying a DS now would be a waste of money... DS2 is going to be lauched this year or next year... buying a DS for a year or so of use isn't a good investement but your call xD

NDS, portable is better.

If you want to play games on the PC, play games that aren't portable.

Well said xD.

Anyways get the DSi XL, it's much better and easier to play on.
And im surprised you don't like portables D: , my whole life revolves
around portables (okay maybe not, but I still like portables :3).

I have a pretty powerful gaming PC, but still when I get bored or tired it's nice to relax on the couch or bad and play with the DS.
Especially graphic adventures or puzzle games before going to sleep.
So I would say get a DS, ( I'll get a DSi XL too ), it's true soon or later a DS2 will come out, but there is no guarantee that current flashcart will work on it and how long will it take to hack it, so if you get a DS now, you still get a long time to play and a great catalog of games to choose from if you never owned one. Also check the [essential] treads for good games recommendations, i'm sure you'll find a lot to play and will eventually get a DS too.
