Hacking Question Should I keep sysNAND on 1.0.0 and update EmuNAND to 6.1.0?

Really I'd just like to bounce this off of anyone willing to listen. I've had this 1.0.0 Switch around since the March '17 release and I'm finding myself forgetting I even have it with all the great things that are now possible on updated Switches. My questions:
  1. What more can be possible with a 1.0.0 that we don't already have on updated Switches?
  2. Is it just a matter of following the instructions for SX EmuNAND, or is there anything special to consider with a Switch with that old of a firmware?
I'm not concerned with banning, and I'm only going up to 6.1.0.

Thoughts?

Hell yea. Never update 1.0.0 unit the official way.

I guess that brings up another question. If I'm ever, I dunno... "done" with EmuNAND on that unit, I can always just delete the EmuNAND portion and it'll be just as useless and relatively untouched like it was before, right? I'm a fan of Undo Buttons.

Yup. Just delete the files from SD or maybe the SX payload has a delete option.

If you don't want to update your gamecard firmware, never insert a game card while running your 6.1 emuNAND.

Otherwise, you won't be able to use your gamecard slot anymore when you go back to 1.0.0 sysnand.

Here's a recent scenario where this happened:

Rad, thank you. That's question 3 out of the way. Anyone wanna take on 1 & 2?
1. oldest FW has the most exploits. 1.0.0 is the most likely FW to get coldboot.
2. Just follow their website.

You are all kings. Or queens, I don't know you. Point is, thank you all so much for the input this is exactly what I was hoping for! If anyone else has any further thoughts, I'll still be watching this thread.
