Homebrew Should I install A9LH on a N3DS w/ a katsukitty capture card?

I shipped my new 3ds xl from canada to japan to get a capture card installed last week. Today, It came back and I'm pretty happy with the outcome. I'm surprised that katsukitty finally got his shit together and produce a decent product with a good turn around time.

Well, this is what my n3ds has right now:

Capture Card
Menuhax with ctrbootmanager
rxtools
gateway
hbl
Internal Microsd card: 32gb
Gateway Microsd card: 64gb

Firmware is at 9.2 and emunand is at 11.0

So the question now is, should I possibly take a risk and install arm9loaderhax and have it boot lumas and gateway? This is a $500+ investment I'm risking. I want to know how safe is it now to get gateway running with lumas and arm9.

Should have installed A9LH before hand, honestly. However, you should be fine.

It is worth it but how much money you spended its a good idea for a hardmod, some hardmodders know how to install them over capture cards

i did some reading, the risky part is getting the OTP right? After that it's all easy downhill?

I just installed A9LH on another n3DS today and maybe I wasn't paying attention but I think getting the OTP was really easy compared to the old guide.

I've done it on all bar two of my systems - including a Japanese Katsu system. You should be fine as long as you're careful and read the instructions. Be sure to check your files to assure they're for the correct region and model too ^^

So what part of the phailects guide should I read on? Do I need to setup rednand even though I have emunand? Or can I skip it and move on to part 4 after making all the backups?

@cooroxd if you have emuNAND you don't need to set up redNAND, Plailect mentions this in the guide. You can start at part 4 if you have a working emuNAND with Luma, some kind of CIA installer, and TinyFormat installed as a CIA.
