Should I get 1GB or 2GB?

    I'm trying to decide which MicroSD card I should get for my R4. Which would be a better choice?

    Depends. Do you want room for your hombrew (movies, music, e-books, etc) or just want your DS games? If your interested in homebrew then I suggest a 2GB. It's good to have a variety of choices when your stuck in traffic.

    2GB all the way, why worry about running out of room with 1GB! I actually have 2x 2GB's, and a 1GB micro SD, i of course haven't even the other 3GB with anything, YET. [​IMG]

    I used to use 2x2 GB (one in my M3 Lite, and the other in the R4). That much space isn't very useful, but I wouldn't ever think of dropping from 2GB to 1GB.

    2x 2GB is too small for me, so I'm upping to 1x 6GB [​IMG]
    2GB should be enough for most of your needs, though.

    2gb of course, if you can afford it. In my opinion, having more space is always a pro.

    2GB hands down. You'll need the space if you intend to fill it with multimedia and games. Or if you don't intend to fill it with any multimedia, you can dedicate 2GB worth of space for games.

    As what the above poster has mentioned, more space is always a pro. [​IMG]

    I wish I got a 2gb card, there's always that extra game you want to add to your card but you're just over the limit :'(

    I'd get the most you can, got a 4gb CF card in my M3 and its only got gig left on it, mostly used up with various NDS/GBA roms.

    It is a shame the R4 cant take SDHC so that 6GB card will be useless.

    i'd say go for 2 gb, but if you don't really need that much get 1gb.
    Actually i just ordered 1gb for r4 today. Even though i don't have r4 or ds yet.

    Why do you have GBA games on the M3?


    And I have a 1GB and a 2GB... If I fill the 2GB Up as well, Ill get another 2GB....

    Its a bit awkward having to change the cheats for each one though... I wish the R4 had SDHC support! Then I could have 32GB!

    but guys are u filling all games u have in the card? or only those u play becuz i don't see it worth to keep all games in card, just have it on PC rite?
    And music files (waste of time i think...anyway) how many do u have, 100?

    Wait...

    So you cant run them on an R4, but you can on M3, even though they are basically the same thing?
