Should I wait for this method to be feasible to recover my Wii U?

On this topic you confirmed that I had bricked my console: https://gbatemp.net/threads/bricked-wiiu.463210/

After this, and seeing that it had no backup of the nand, I knew I would have to buy a new console, but then DeadlyFoez told me that with otp backup I could recover the console:

That is not true. Since the per-console keys are stored in the OTP it is possible to dump the NAND and eMMC, unencrypt them, fix the mistake, re-encrypt, reflash the fixed flash image, and it is fixed.

Sadly, no one has made an easy enough method to do this yet.

So, I'm not really in a hurry to play, should I wait for this method to be feasible in order not to lose my saves or my installed games?

Thx for all guys!
