    Those that were on IRC the other night probably already saw this but others might want to.

    Anyway the shocking realisation:

    It is entirely possible to be a 20 something and have no memories of the 1980's

    Now there is the argument that the 1980's had little worth remembering but I would hold that is immaterial right now.

    As a kid in the 70s/80s, I distinctly remember "The Year 2000" sounding like some sort of far-flung 'future world' that was EAONS away, heh...

    Reminds me of those old movies, books, games and whatever that told us we'd have hovercars and weird shit in after 2010 or even 2000 :P
