I got Dragon's Lair working with option 2 that Vague Rant mentioned. I then reverted back the vwii settings (didn't want my vWii settings changed for just one game especially given the rest of my wii games are in pal format) and installed the latest version of Wiiflow and found that Dragon's Lair as well as many Wiigames I couldn't get working on WiiVC injection (Trauma Team, MLB Power Pros, MLB Power Pros 2008) all worked. I'd highly recommend you get Wiiflow on your vWii and try Shiren on it. I'm only using Wiiflow because i got wii games on my sd card but if you're running from usb hdd then try the other loaders too.
Note: I had issues with Wiiflow lite running trauma Team and Dragon's Lair which is the reason why I chose the WiiFlow original version
