My brothers shinx just evolved and its still shiny thanks. He has another shinx that isnt shinny if he breeds it with the shiny will the baby be shiny also?

No. It shouldn't be because it will have different IV

Offspring of shiny pokemon have the same chance as offspring of non-shiny pokemon of being shiny, i.e. 1 in 8192. So chances are the babies won't be shiny. Shiny Crobats are pink colored, however shiny Goldbats and Zubats are Green. I've caught or hatched the following shiny's in the GBA/DS/GC games all legit:

Tentacool
Sandshrew
Nincada
Magneton
Zigzagoon (was a promo from EB Games)
Venomoth
Zubat

The last 2 I caught in Diamond using the pokeradar.

Oshi...I didn't catch a shiny Crobat, it's a Golbat. Anyway, I don't want a shiny Pokemon, I want an old school Pokemon that's rare. Thinkin' a Mewtwo, Mew or something like that.

i caught a shiny geodude in diamond (its yellow) stright into the box, so its EVs are untouched.

Wether a Pokémon is shiny or not doesn't depend on IVs since the RSE-generation anymore.
