A new action RPG has been announced- Shining Legend. Just throw away your nostalgia right now though because this is not related to any of the Shining games made by SEGA. This is a totally new game by Blueside, makers of the Xbox series Kingdom Under Fire and Ninety-Nine Nights. No video or screens available yet, though we have some details and art-

    - developed by Blueside
    - studio's first DS title
    - action RPG
    - travel to over 40 lands
    - over 400 quests
    - dozens of endings
    - play as Prince Luchs of Alterrain
    - the Prince was exiled to "the Land of Sand" when he was fourteen,
    - the Prince has now returned to Alterrain to find his hometown in debt following the death of his father
    - in Junon, seven princesses have left the royal palace, and there is a reward for anyone that finds them
    - Luchs and his talking cat Morgan head off to try and find these princesses, hope to get the reward, and would like to find some romance along the way
    - official site is available in English, Japanese and Korean
    - due out this Winter [/p]
Hopefully we get some screens or videos soon, it sounds somewhat interesting. The DS market sure is saturated by RPG's though isn't it? [IMG]

From the details it sounds like an Idea Factory or N1 game which... isn't good. I hope it isn't as bad as it sounds.

Seems nice on paper but Ninety Nine Nights and the Kingdom Under Fire they did didn't exactly get spectacular reviews. Not like shovelware quality but just not all too good quality. But who knows. I'll wait until more info is released to make a definite judgment.

Seriously...is this a harem RPG? Did they finally mix a JRPG with Do You Like Horny Bunnies?

You make it sound like this is the first time this has been done.
And it's not like WRPGs haven't been following suit lately either. [IMG]

I liked the Luminous Arc series though. Mainly the first one because the story was just so much more interesting. Second one was decent i guess, but alot easier then the first one.

    *Starts talking on-topic now*

Well.. If this really is Blueside's first DS title, i hope they can make a somewhat original DS debut with this. I'm getting this game anyway. For some reasons i like stories where prince's are exiled. (Avatar the last Airbender lol.)

    - action RPG Ooh, that gets me interested already, since it's my favourite genre.
    - travel to over 40 lands That's a lot of lands. Hopefully they're not too small.
    - over 400 quests Awesome, but just as with the lands, they shouldn't be too short (like: Fetch this item, kill that person, etc).
    - dozens of endings Dozens of endings? Holy crap, that's sweet!
    - play as Prince Luchs of Alterrain A prince, huh? Interesting.
    - the Prince was exiled to "the Land of Sand" when he was fourteen, And he was exiled? This is getting even more interesting...
    - in Junon, seven princesses have left the royal palace, and there is a reward for anyone that finds them Aww, that means all princesses are already on the pre-release art [IMG]
    - Luchs and his talking cat Morgan head off to try and find these princesses, hope to get the reward, and would like to find some romance along the way Romance = sex?
    - due out this Winter Mmm, warm winter coming up![/p]
