from what it looks like it takes place after IV, new cast of charactersI'm just going to automatically assume that any release date Atlus gives us is actually 1 year early.
Do we actually know anything about it? Is it a "Golden" version or a spin-off or what? I guess we'll find out on the 11th.
I mean the Devil Survivor games were a mess but I'm pretty sure IV was out worldwide inside of six months from the JP release, which isn't terrible as far as a lot of things are concerned.Coming to Europe in 2025.
SMTIV came out in EU over a year after it came out in US.I mean the Devil Survivor games were a mess but I'm pretty sure IV was out worldwide inside of six months from the JP release, which isn't terrible as far as a lot of things are concerned.
Yeah, the site I was double-checking with had it listed wrong. My bad.SMTIV came out in EU over a year after it came out in US.
ugh, i was told that IV wasnt that great compared to the others, guess those people were wrong since its getting another game :/ ill actually have to get the original IV now, unless theres a manga, ill just read that

Jeez, I already asked that.I loved IV but what is this, enhanced re-release or an actual new game?
Fuck you I live a busy life I don't have time to be browsing threadsJeez, I already asked that.
The Devil Survivor games were a very fun mess. So being a mess isn't necessarily a bad thing.I mean the Devil Survivor games were a mess but I'm pretty sure IV was out worldwide inside of six months from the JP release, which isn't terrible as far as a lot of things are concerned.
I'm guessing by "mess" they were referring to their release dates. The Devil Survivor games were a very fun mess. So being a mess isn't necessarily a bad thing.
If anything Pokemon came from this since the SMT series started in 1992.Aside from the story, it just like the pokemon + dragon quest/final fantasy right?
It can't be completely separate from SMTIV, considering the fact that it's called "SMTIV: Final." There's three options: it's a "golden" version, it's a spinoff (same universe but different story and/or mechanics), or it's a true sequel. The "Again" could honestly be any of those three: a remaster where you play the same game "again" (although that's highly unlikely since there's new characters), a spinoff where you're in the same universe "again", or a sequel with the same reasoning as the former.I don't seem to be finding anything that claims that the game actually takes place after SMT IV. Perhaps it takes place within the same universe, but there are still very few concrete details. I for one believe that it will be completely seperate from SMT IV however.
Always neutral, isn't it?Do we know what the canon ending was for IV?

I highly expect it to be a spin-off instead of a true sequel.
