I just want to know if I did anything wrong or messed something up. Here's what I did:
I used Hourglass9 to dump my Pokemon TCGs cia file, extracted it on PC using HackingToolKit3DS, deleted the .patch file and then rebuild it using the toolkit again. Then I installed it with FBI and this is where I'm a bit worried: I did not uninstall or delete the original game. So far it all works just fine and just how I wanted it: The patched out messages referring to linking do apear and the game runs and saves same as before, but did I create 'messy files' elsewhere? It seems like FBI just updated my original game file.
During the dumping process I saw that Hourglass9 wiped 'console specific information' from the cia. Can this lead to any problems down the line?
If anyone's curious, I just didn't like the idea of Nintendo patching out linking stuff just because it's unusable.
