Hacking Setting up A9LH on 03DS for a friend

I have never personally used A9LH, so i'm not too familiar with everything about it. I've done everything in the guide up to the point where I've just restored my SysNand back to 9.2. But my question isn't about setting it up, it's about what's the difference between a9lh and say rxTools booting through themehax? I just don't want to leave him with something he could screw up because I didn't really know what i was giving him, with things like CIA installs, updating games, region free, playing online, and actual system updates.
I'm setting up cakes, because the guide said it offered AGB_FIRM patching, and AuReiNand didn't.
TL;DR: What kinds of things should I let him know when I give it back to him later tonight?

Installing it or try to get the otp is dangerous since it involves downgrading to 2.1 , since you said your not too fimiliar with it I don't recommend you trying to install it, a9hl boot time to the homemenu is like 9 seconds or less while theme hax is more then 30 seconds, big difference...

One primary difference to acknowledge between A9LH and menuhax is the 3DS will not boot at all without the SD card and arm9loaderhax.bin on the SD card. With menuhax, the 3DS will boot to sysNAND without the SD card and menuhax on the SD card.

I have aleady downgraded to 2.1 and retrieved the OTP and restored my 9.2 nand. I just didn't know if there was any tips I needed to know so he didn't end up messing anything up.

AFAIK you dont miss anything with sysnand 9.2

when u installed arm9loaderhax.3dsx in 9.2, u basically safe.
