Could this mean another firmware update for 3ds?
And what could this mean for firmware spoofing the eshop since that's being updated too?

Well, wasn't last monday when they also had an extended maintenance and after that they released the 10.2 update? If that's true, a new update *could* be coming.

Hmm... What if Nintendo decided to overhaul the eShop, but also changing the way requests are made to the server? This would cause the outdated eShop not to be able to connect, killing the eShop spoofer.

I'm pretty sure they had those maintenance advices since last Wednesday. After all, they changed their maintance schedule last week (it went for less time than they originally said) so they added larger maintance schdeules for today.

If it patches something about the recent homebrew releases, it'll be a side effect, not the main reason to maintenance.

So bad. This means we're again at the point where only Cubic Ninja/Ocarina of Time users are okay. Ironfall too, but that's restricted to users who downloaded it already.

Well, I think the reason is clear now. Browserhax is fixed. On all firmwares.

Apparently, only on 9.9+. My browser is still working just fine on 9.0/9.5, along with other people who are still on lower firmwares.
