Seriosly whats up with the old DOS 8 character format

    Why o why did the supercard team make the save files as 8 character format? Any chance of an firmware update that correct this? [​IMG]

    Probably related to the fact that the OS is still based off of Moonshell v1.4. It's simply REALLY OLD.

    There was some rumer that a member recieved a email from them saying they will remake the meny after updating for the DSi or something but that was back in May...

    I've had mixed success with long filenames. Sometimes they work fine, sometimes they don't. Haven't been able to find a 100% successful method yet.

    My only solution was that my ROMs folder have names of 8 characters max. That solves a number of serious issues that can occur when recopying stuff to the memory and 8.3 name associations are changed.
