Hacking Sent Updated Acekard 2i to girl friend need help?

I sent her my Acekard 2i until she and her daughter move out here, its been updated to the latest fix from the Acekard team and is running AKAIO 1.8.9, I was told that if she has updated her DSi to the latest firmware than she should have no trouble using the Acekard 2i on the DSi....well she gets this...

Any help would be greatly appreciated and yes my 3DS has been updated running the most recent update since the Acekard team updated there stuff...no there is nothing wrong with the kart I used plenty of times right before I sent it....

most probably the common contact issue. happens between different systems. i have a 2i that works great on my xl but not on my lite. i have many other 2is that won't work on the xl, but work in a different xl, etc.
