Hacking Sending SAV files from R4 to AceKard 2i

So I recently purchased a DSi.
So then I found out that the R4DS is not compatible with the DSi. So after some research, I decided to purchase an AceKard 2i.

So I tried to play Pokemon Platinum on the AceKard 2i, but it read the game as if it was a new game.
So I copied the .SAV file from the R4DS to the AceKard 2i. Still the same results

So after doing some research, I renamed the .SAV file from "Pokemon Platinum.SAV" to "Pokemon Platinum.nds.SAV"

Still the same results

Any solutions?

well go to your settings (ak2) change the default save format from .nds.sav to .sav
then your sav from r4 should be working well

furthermore, you can try play another game on ak2i and see what is the save generated
if it is .sav
then just bring over your r4 save directly without changing the save format settings from .nds.sav to .sav

one importang thing just make sure the game name and the save name is the same
