Homebrew [SegaSonic The Hedgehog] Can't run the game at all

I downloaded this game called "SegaSonic The Hedgehog", it's a arcade game, so I used the "MAME Wii" app for the homebrew channel, but it didn't recognize the game (not in zip file or extracted), so the app said "no games in the directory". And so I tried to run the game on RetroArch Wii, but as soon as I chose the correct core (forgot which one but tried with every single Arcade core), retroarch freezes apparently, and takes me back to Homebrew channel. Does anyone know how to run this game on the wii at all? Please Help! I really want to try this game out with a gamecube controller or wii controller!

It loads with Wiimpathy's MAME cores (but doesn't work and it finally crash):

I didn't test it, but the prototype version should work better.

Thanks! Gonna try that today. I'll post a reply when I've got results (dont know how to add those cores in, but I'll try my best to find out)
