On Tuesday Sega teased an image relation to the popular Saturn game, NiGHTS Into Dream. Many people thought it was something to do with the forthcoming Sonic & Sega Allstars racing game as the image looked like a track...they were wrong, Sega are releasing the game in HD for PC/PSN & XBLA!

Sega really are pusing the digital side of their business! I'm wondering what else they have in store.

shit hot, nice to see Sega is delving back into the Saturn cataloge now, was recently playing Nights-Journey of the Dreams so going back to a tarted up edition of the original would do me fine on Steam

Is this one of those games that actually lives up to its nostalgic hype?

Its a good game but I never felt it was anything special and it's certainly not aged as well as others.

I love NiGHTS! I cannot wait to get this. Also the gameplay to this very day is spot on!

Now Bring us Panzer Dragoon Saga and I will be very happy :P

    Oh fucking god yes!

Even better would be Panzer Dragoon 1-3 plus Saga on one disc.

If you mean Orta with PD3 I would gladly pay full price for all those. Having PD, Zwei, Saga and Orta on one Disc would be a dream come true!

the ammount of Saturn games Sega could profit from is silly, as pointed out the Panzer Dragoon series, Burning Rangers, Die Hard Arcade, the Saturn version of Sonic 3D, Fighters Megamix, probably more i have forgotton about or never got to try as well

They mentioned PSN, but does this include the Vita or not? I'd love to play NiGHTS on the go.

Don't call it a confirmation but Sega did announce the HD make over of Jet Set Radio was Vita bound so i don't see nothing holding back Nights coming to the Vita

Thanks for being so awesome to release it on Steam too, Sega. I'll certainly buy it (like I did with the other Sega titles on Steam) ;)

Journey of Dreams was a steaming pile of Pap that wasn't worthy of the NiGHTS name!

Anyway this is great news. But whhhhy not 3DS? :( This would be an awesome fit for the machine!
I'll buy it anyway. Means I can stop wrestling with the PS2 emulator.

Will it include Christmas NiGHTS and the subgames? I would guess from their recent porting history, probably not :(

I know I could easily play it on the emulator, but I purchased Dynamite Headdy just for being an awesome game.

Anyway, on topic, I had a friend who had a saturn, and he had this game, but he never let me play it because he said it sucked and he didn't want to watch me play it, so I never got the chance to play it at all.
