hi followed what it said to do to seed mine and after installing everything and powering off my 3ds xl it now wont turn on again i have a black screen and the power light just flashes on and off again

make sure you have the boot.firm on your 3ds SD card

no you renamed the 7zip file to boot.7z
open that file up and there will be a boot.firm inside of it

cant find the boot.firm everytime i try to download it it just comes up with an error and wont open in 7zip

For the next time: enable showing file extensions.
View -> Folder Options (or similar) -> remove check at "Hide file extensions for known file types"

Also, it's usually worth a shot to open 7zip itself and open the file using file... open...

so is it correct i have to do a system update after doing all that as fbi etc dont show up on my home screen

the system update it to ensure you are on the newest firmware for support etc, this Section II
follow that, then complete Section III for FBI etc

so sorry mate done that and got into risalina and went to the miscellaneous option and it says operatin failed (no suitable process found) the doesnt show homebrew on my main screen

make sure you open the app Download Play first it's an orange 3ds looking icon with a wifi style wave
once that is fully loaded continue with the steps for Rosalina

no i have all the stuff and can do it can i do the same on my sons and daughters 2ds following the same steps with the same info or do i need other people to freind them again on here

the movable.sed and the game from the eshop are console specific, you will need to get the files for each of them
