Hello,

i'm trying to drop iTunes because it's a bloated piece of crap

so i've tried:

Winamp lite (couldn't get the volume to lock, tried altering the plugin and didn't work)
MusikCube (had problems with playback, no good)
foobar2000 (too much of a pain to use)

so help me out

i need a lightweight media player with a library function similiar to iTunes / Winamp / MusikCube.

last.fm support is also needed

ohyeah and i'm on windows.

You could try the Zune Software, it looks very sexy, but im not too sure about last.fm support. I thought you deleted your last.fm and never to be used again?

There is a guide to use itunes front end and foobar backend which is the bloated part of the software.

Never got around to testing myself. Always meant to but I just stick with foobar instead.

zune software is too bloated, all i need is something like winamp but i can't get the freaking volume lock working so i won't be using it

and foobar is out of the question it annoys me the way it handles stuff and yeah
