OK... so i updated to 4.0 through nintendo after installing CIOS rev8... I then installed the patch IOS60 and everything was working GREAT.

Homebrew was reading my HP 8 Gig SDHC card and i was also able to copy/play wads from my SD... I woke up one day...

NOW for some reason, the games still work, BUT homebrew WILL NOT load my apps on my SDHC anymore and i do not know why.

They will still load fine from my regular SD, but not my SDHC

I have tried reinstalling the patched IOS60, but that didnt do it.

can someone tell me whats up??? is it the SDHC card itself? because i really dont want to fork over another $50 just to test if it is!!!

Try reformatting your SDHC card? (make a backup of your files) As a side note, I'm on 4.0E (official update) and I haven't experienced any problems with my SDHC card. I have no custom/patched IOSes installed, just DVDx and HBC.
