Hardware SD2Vita stuck in gamecard slot

So, ever since h-encore got released I decided to ditch my 3.65 enso OLED model for my 3.68 Slim Vita. Installing h-encore and migrating all my data - including my sd2vita - worked perfectly fine. However, I am struggling with removing the sd2vita unit from my Vita console. As shown in the picture, this is as far as the device ejects. I tried pulling and twisting with minor force (as to not break anything) but it simply wont come out. Any idea what else I can try?

It's a version I sometimes see refered to as "v2" or "push to eject".

I had this issue with sd2vita v1.. I freaked out because I thought my cartridge slot was damaged it took a while but after a lot of giggling and lightly pulling it finally came out
to be fair I still have issues with the latest sd2vita sometimes when I eject it it allows me to push it down but it won't pop back up until I have to pull it out with a paperclip or needle

well, I somehow got it out. Once I did, my gamecard slot stopped working entirely, even with regular cards. It only started working once I decided to dig up my old V1 SD2Vita that's not spring loaded. Phew, that was close. Now the cartridge slot works fine again.
