I have a modded switch with a picofly chip. I had some issues where the sd card wouldnt read but i could just remove it and reinsert and everything would work fine booting into hekate and atmosphere. Now i am having no luck with the sd card reading and get the error message whenever I try to boot into hekate: "SD Card Failed To Init SD Card Reader Not Properly Seated"

I dont think its an sd card issue because my computer can read it just fine and none of the pins on the sd card reader or motherboard seem bent or broken. What could cause the issue?

Is the card formatted correctly (FAT32) ? If the card is new they are typically formatted in FAT .

Disregard the above . The sdcard reader isnt seated correctly ? Did you try reflowing it ?

I gotnthe same issue here,
I even swapped the SD module from another switch still doesn't work on the device, but the module that was swapped works on the donor switch.
My take it can be either a battery issue(!?), or need reflowing. But that module is so tiny, and I don't have the tools. Event if I had the tools, I don't have the skills to operate on such a small area.

The funny thing is that it does work 70% of the time but then randomly disconnect.

its almost allways the motherboard sockect, check the pins base, normally one or several are cracked. Replace the socket, heat from the bottom if not you will melt plastic connectors
