I present Release Candidate version 1 of SD-boot version 0.4.

Any bug reports are welcome, please make them as detailed as you like

Two disc still currently isn't finished but I am slowly working on it. Audio streaming games currently run but the streaming will just result in buzzing audio, this can't be redirected from the SD card, the only solution is for me to mute it in a future version.

Enjoy!

Note: Do NOT use the pre-patcher unless you HAVE to because you won't be able to apply additional settings like the ones in sd-boot's settings menu.

Also for those of you who downloaded the first binary, there was a bug in the pre-patcher, this has now been fixed.

More info and download

Run GC Games from SD?
I gotta have a look.

EDIT:
Oh you need the original game in the drive for it to work.

yes you can burn it on a GC bootdisc and use GC backup launcher to load GC backup SD loader from the disc lol

still it is Gamecube homebrew, not Wii

because you can put several gamecube games on a single SD card ? because DVD easily get damaged and not SDCARD ?

what the point of ANY iso loader then (beside obvious piracy) ?

arhgh , you dont get my point

if you have the disc already there why dont you just play from it?

you can put a lot of gc games on an sd but you still have to change disc everytime?

okay, you win

It requires any original GameCube disc to be in the drive, or any GameCube backup will do if you have a modchip in your GameCube/Wii.

It's of most benefit if you're playing on an actual GameCube because the mini discs are expensive and the drive is a fussy little bastard that doesn't like many discs.
