    Hi,

I just tried scummvm on my 4.2e softmodded wii. I can see the scummvm loading screen, but right after that it takes me back to the system menu. I still don't have any games installed on my usb hd, but I don't think that is the problem. ( or is it ? ). If someone can help me out, every help is apreciated.

EDIT: I already looked on scummvm's forum, but I didn't find anything. Maybe I just overlooked it.

    Thx for any replies.

Okay, it's working perfectly when I don't launch it with this forwarder Forwarder.

Too bad because it is a nice forwarder !

forwarder works great i installed it just to test it for you

the boot.dol must be in either with any needed files

    sd:\apps\scummvm\boot.dol
    sd:\scummvm\boot.dol
    usb:\apps\scummvm\boot.dol
    usb:\scummvm\boot.dol

and also check that you have a pretty up to date IOS35 or it wont work, use dop ios mod 11 to dl and install one for you or use NUS and get it that way

Thx for your reply pepxl. boot.dol is at the right place ( usb:\apps\scummvm\boot.dol ) and I updated the ios35 ( ver. 3449 if I remember right ) yesterday after reading your post. Still no luck, it's very strange [IMG]

I tried putting scummvm in apps dir on my sd ( it was on usb before ) but I still have the same problem. I really don't understand it, when I launch scummvm from homebrew channel, it works fine, when I launch it via channel, it won't start.

ok found the problem, file was called boot.elf instead of boot.dol [IMG] [IMG] I hate it when windows decides not to show the extensions of the files. Thread can be closed. Thank you
