Just thought I'd let everyone in on what has to be the best screensaver I've ever used.

    NES Screensaver

In short, this is what it does:

The directions are pretty self explanatory, and yes, you'll need to supply ROMs. It takes a bit of time to set up, but it's so damn worth it.

edit: Guess I should add some of the tasty details. You can use the arrow keys to highlight games (the flashing red dealie moving to the right in the video), and hit space to enlarge just that game, and play where it left off. There's plenty of input options to make this work quite well. It uses UberNES movies to display games being played by other people (which can be downloaded within the settings), and you can also set it to just load games and sit at the titlescreen/demo. You can also set the ratio of movies to basic title screens. There really are a ton of options within this thing, to make it do exactly what you want.

Yea, I can only run about 15 or so while still looking non-silly. This computer isn't quite the powerhouse, though.

I have not used a screensaver in about 13 years or possibly more and every time I hear the words "custom screensaver" I still think virus.

    Thanks for sharing though.

Same here, it's been ages since I've last seen my screensaver.
Don't even know what it is.

Nice find though, looks very nice!

It's been ages since any of my screens needed saving. Great find, though. [IMG]
