Hi.
I used to be able to run the gateaway(redcard) via the browser few months ago, and it worked just fine.
A while ago, when I tried to rerun it via the browser again, all I get is a stuck black screen saying "launcher.dat loading".

That's all, it refuses to reboot me back to the homepage like it used to.

I would appreciate it if anyone could tell me what has happened. Did something "Somehow" get corrupted at some point unbeknownst to me.?

All I have in the 3ds's SD card atm is the launcher.dat file.
Thanks.

Well you're still on a very old firmware which Gateway supports so I have no idea why it's not working.
This is a reference image for the screen i'm talking about.

It gets stuck like that for eternity on this.
Although, over the time, I've realized I've gained telekinesis over this bitch and now I could move the screen a bit upward with the moving stick before getting stuck for eternity again.

And this is my firmware.

Honestly, this is truly confusing me. Everything used to work out fine for almost a year.
The last thing I remember doing is leaving my 3ds turned on(blue light only) on my charger while I was on getaway mode. When I had forgot that I turned off the electricity connecting the device, the 3ds turned off itself after a long period of being uncharged and here we are.

Thanks!

Try using go.gateway-3ds.com/old/. I believe they changed this when they introduced their a9lh support.

Hi!
I've tried your method, mate.
Now the screen has changed from that depressing "Loader.dat" to "3ds gateway loading"
Albeit it still stuck.

And lmao, this time I could freely go full telekinesis here!

And you could also see a a pixilated white block flickering underneath the text for some reason.

Has something changed with the people at 3ds gateway or something?
Is there a method to get this thing to work, or some alternative tutorial for a different method to have it go into gateway mode?

There are several other options:
- Install the mset exploit (obsolete): Put the blue card files from the GW release onto the blue card and run GW_INSTALLER.nds, after that go to System Settings->Other Settings->Profile->Nintendo DS Profile every time you want to launch GW and it should load. If you play a DS or DSiWare game you'll need to rerun GW_INSTALLER.nds.
- Autobooting GW with menuhax: Update to 9.2 and install menuhax, take the GW.3dsx from the GW release and rename it boot.3dsx and place it on the SD card root. Depending on how you set up menuhax you can autoboot GW on power on or only when a button is held on power on.
- Autobooting GW with A9LH (best): Follow the guide at https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki and once you are done with the guide you can use Gateway's arm9loaderhax.bin from their website along with a boot manager such as BootCtr9 to autoboot GW at power on.

Hi!
Thank youa lot for the options!
I think Id like to go with the a9lh. But can you give me a shortcut steps to where I should start here from?
I am as lost as a small kitten; too much infos and blablabla for me to grasp.
I tried to search for on youtube for a tutorial video, but I don't even know which one to click on and lots are in spanish too.
As well as Lots of bin's and downgrades and what not on that site.
The site itself is very confusing and complex for an unexperienced person like me.

Sorry for the stupidity.

Start from here: https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/rxTools-Browser to update to 9.2. When you've done that go to https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/Part-1-(Homebrew) and then also do parts 2, 3, 4, and 5. If you get tired of it you can stop after part 2 when you've injected FBI (you can get the gateway.3dsx file from the 3.7.1 gateway download pack, rename it boot.3dsx and gateway will start when you hold the down key on startup).
You might like to read the "Get Started" and "FAQ" sections of the same site before starting.
If you have any questions about it feel free to ask in the noob paradise thread or make a new thread if complex/you don't get a response.
Good luck!

Yep I definitely agree that you should go with a9lh and that is the definitive, always updated, fool-proof guide!
