Thank you for this. I released a hotfix for values out of range. Download it here: https://github.com/supremetakoyaki/Scramble/releases/tag/v0.2.1

I also upped FP cap to 9,999 and money to 9,999,999. Let me know if it's actually possible to get more in the game.
I know FP is an unsigned 16-bit integer so theoretical maximum is 65,535 but that seems overkill.

Thanks for this! Yes, money caps at 9,999,999. About FP, 999 is more than plenty to unlock everything it's used for.

Update time :D
After extensive studying, pin editor is finally complete, and includes leveling data, icons, brand, and the most important part since without it the game was breaking: equipping.

Try to always equip a pin to each one of your party members. Entering a battle with no pin equipped will crash the game.
Here is how it looks after I added x99 of every pin and mastered:

3/1 uber pins, that seems illegal hehe

I tried to make every check and precautions in order to make the user experience smoother, such as being unable to equip collectible/yen pins or automatically swapping equipped pins when required. The editor will most likely do everything for you and make changes that are seen valid by the game.

If you find any bug, let me know.

Hi guys. I thought I would post here since I didn't see another thread. Is this game worth getting? I have heard of it, but never played before. What is it like and how is it? Thoughts and help appreciated :)

If you like action JRPGS you'll enjoy it quite a lot, plus the game is beautiful and the soundtrack is fire. There's a lot of reading though, and you might not be into that, however the localization team did a great job because the writing is genius. :)

Anyone able to confirm this editor works on saves made under the new game update??
Hi, yes it does. I just tested it (game ver 1.01). Works fine.

I'm actively working on this so any issue you find, quote me and I'll try to solve it asap.
I'm also working on another large update so stay tuned ^^

I tried to figure out what the new update of the game added.
Unfortunately 90% of it has been encrypted by Square Enix (they got smarter, huh).

Luckily, I can confirm that they didn't add new content. They tweaked graphical stuff and changed a couple of environmental sound effects. The update is big (400MB) because even if they changed one tiny thing, they have to update the whole package in which the file is contained (in this game, it's the .unity3d files). Talk about waste of space.

So, I tried to use this on a PS4 save file however the .exe states that the file size is incorrect. My file is 6.12mb whereas your application wants a file exactly 3.2mb. Now I do have 3 slots saved to which may be an issue? I have uploaded my save for you to use to add compatibility potentially?

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way
