1. Micro$oft are stupid, and an older version would just make them dumber.

2. Actually, Microsoft products have been less reliable and secure than other ones (yes, even apple!)

3. Firefox is free... Most teachers I know have at least that.

4. GNU, If she thinks she can teach, then has she heard of the GNU?
I hope she does take legal action... she deserves the massive fact that linux is released under the G(NU)PL shoved in her face!

Just shows you how many stupid teachers/people in the world, Linux is the best OS ive used, i have it running on my laptop and my "everyday PC", unfortunately ive had to stick with Microsoft(gaming purposes). I really don't see why this teacher cares.
