    How could I do a nand hardmod, but instead of sd, I use usb?

    I think that the sd is the most closest thing with emmc that has the 3DS, but you can also use an sd to usb adapter

    Just so you know, if you were to plug your nand directly into usb, instead of using a SD > SD reader as a buffer it'll fry your Nand.

    I did see a post where someone put the SD reader into the 3DS and then used a USB plug on the other end, they had to put a few switches in though to make it so that it didn't constantly bluescreen on boot

    I would build in a msd adapter with a multiple pull, sigle through switch to disconnect it from the 3ds nand. The put a mini usb connector on it.

    Seriously, you're going to want a dpst smd switch and use it on the CLK and CMD lines. DAT0 and GND are fine.

    Doing a usb hardmod is more trouble than it's really worth.. Isn't it?
