Hacking Saving Pokemon Diamond/Pearl Flash Games

Ive just been playing Pokemon Diamond for half an hour on my DS through my EZ Flash, had to help the parents out, so i saved and turned it off.

I just turned it back on to find it didnt save my game at all.

What setting do i need to have it on to save?

Currently its on 64K EEPROM, obviously thats not the right one.

Oh, also...

I've been playing Diamond. I load Pearl for the first time (both on my EZ Flash V) and it had my save from Diamond in the menu.

Myself, and a friend have both tried this and it happened to both of us.

Whats the deal?

We've also tried renaming the Pearl rom, but it still happens.
