Real expert help needed please,
i have a nand dunp from my old wii, inludes my saves and mii charactors.
Due to a fault with my original wii this was sent for repair, i got a different wii back that did not have my saves on as i was told my original wii was unrepairable. (dont ask please)
basically anyone know how i can just restore my saves/mii's without a full nand restore.
so far i have extracted title id's 00010000/ save files fromnand backup but unsure how to install
also i dont have a clue of where mii's are stored

the first thing usually you need to do to put a save on the new wii is just boot that game. you may need to let the game create a save. it wll also put another little file on the wii. then once there there is the necessary file on the wii, you will be able to put your old saves there.

for the miis, you should be able to just install them with the mii installer.

I think you can pack them using FE100 or if you are using linux then using segher's tools...

You just need to put them into a proper folder structure... like giantpune said, you need to play the games at least once to copy a save over...

I guess you can also use waninkoko's save manager

Ok so i have found my mii's from inside the wii nand dump of my old console, i have managed to put them on my wii but, it says im unable to edit them due to them being of a different console, is there a hack around this so they can be made to be edited.

also i have managed to restore my old saves using savegame installer and extractor.
