Hacking Save question

I always get a first in not enough power message when i try to save a 512kb file. This happened with pokemon diamond and bleach 2nd. I never get this message otherwise. Is there something wrong with the cart or is it a save type issue? Is there a way to change the save size? I have an ezflash IV compact with the latest updates. If its possible can someone explain teh different save types too. I never really understood them

Pokemon DP uses Flash 512KB Saves. Make sure your using that when playing the game.
