Hacking Save problems with Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow

I remember something about you need to download a save state or something for some games, is that true or did I imagine it? I can't find it if I again read it somewhere. Is anyone else having this problem? I'm using the latest and greatest open firmware AKAIO 1.4.1 proper.

Also, there was a 0121 - Castlevania - Dawn of Sorrow (U).nds.sav made, but when I try to see my saved games they aren't there.

Did you get to a checkpoint and actually save there?

Yeah, I saved at a save point, the blue light healed me, and it said it was saved. I tried again and it saved. Since it works now and it didn't before I though maybe I hit the cancel button, 'B', when I tried to save. But I played for a few hours that first day and was getting healed after the saved but when I went back no data, so I don't know if it was me or the Acekard but it works now.
