PS1/2 save after bootable mem card

on my ps2 mm card if mod it with mcboot can i still save on it like anoal memory card or do i have to get a new one? sorry im a noob to ps2 nd thanks

You can still use it to save.

You can even transfer the game saves to a usb drive for storage. We are all noobs at one point or another.
