So I'm a total dummy lol. I was being impulsive and clicked buy without fully reading what the specs were (as others pointed out) I instead opted to order one of these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073JYC4XM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_lxttBbW7DFK81

It's a couple dollars more but way worth the money for the speed of the card. I'll be returning the other card once it arrives (as it already shipped supposedly). That's what being impulsive on prime day will get you. I'll be updating the OP

btw, that's not good card, it's 45mb read speed, you don't want to get this for your switch.

to get 45MB read on sequenced data you really need to have a bad device... They usually give around 80MB\s of sequential read.

However I already had 3 of them and all were defective so I'm not going to buy them ever again FFS...

I'm hoping samsung makes a A1 cheap 128GB M-SD soon or other brands than anything associated with WD as I already bought 13 defective Western Digital stuff (WD black+WD scorpio (black) and +3 Sandisk Ultra A1 128GB which is actually from WD too).

That’s the older version. It’s a bit slower and doesn’t support A1, which is a newer “standard”.
