So I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy Ace from Amazon, and it was my first Android device. After rooting the phone, I tried backing up my rom with "Rom Manager". Then I found out that this phone isn't supported by Rom Manager AFTER my phone bricked. I can't even go to download manager with the 3-button combination. I even bought a micro-usb JIG dongle, but even after using that, my phone won't go to download mode. Then I bought resistors (three 100ks and one 1k) from RadioShack and tried to unbrick it with those, but its the same result. Now I don't know what the heck to do. Does anyone know any other way to unbrick it? I really don't want to return this, since I actually like this phone, and the fact that it's going to take a long time for the return of my phone.

A Google search returned two solutions:

1. Replace the motherboard - send it in
2. Go to a place that does JTAG repairs and let them fix it
