Hacking safe wads of gamma 3

hi guys i am a newbie and before i softmod my kids crimbo wii i would like to ask a few question without ofending anybody,s good hard work.
is there any way of telling which wad of gamma is the safest to use i have djtaz 40mb pack and has a few backup loader wads in the pack is the wads in that safe to use or will they brick my wii
are wads acting diffrent on diffrent wiis (like some wads dont brick some wii,s but the same wad my brick another wii.
