I have had m3 for a while now, and I'm wondering about the safe mode option when you import games into your m3. What are the letdown with using this option? is it just no software reset and quicksave? I dont mind these things, the quicksave feature I consider cheating so I never use that, softreset I can live without aswell. I always go with the safe mode option but can there be slowdowns with this or is it just because you cant get all extra features that everyone tries the more robust options?

Yes it does slow down and you also get no software reset, no quick save and you can't link nds games with gba games.
