Hacking Safe list of games to play without getting banned?

should some1 make a list of games that are offline only?

Im scared to play a single player game like mario Odyssey that has balloon mode. Since that part is online. dont wanna get banned for something like that

maybe there are games that upload scores to a thing and then boom u get banned for that.

Sure. If you own the game (as in purchased it or was gifted it), then you are good to play online. Otherwise, you're risking a ban on your console, or for that specific game for online play. Nintendo knows what you play when you play it. Simple as that.

Nintendo has no way of knowing you own physical copies of a game. This is both good and bad. That means its potentially okay for you to update backups since you don't need to own it to update it. But there is definitely no such thing as a safe backup, that's a clear violation of their ToS and can get you banned.

Any modification to the system has a chance of being detected. Offline mode, airplane mode, or otherwise. and you do need to own a game to update it (with less risk of a ban),
as each cart has a unique cert, so - if you don't use a legit cert and attempt to grab anything, updates or otherwise, there is a chance you will be flagged for a ban based on that alone.
