Homebrew RXTools Emunand - Safe to play online with nonlegit CIA's?

Just googled for the private header thing but i saw that CIA's dont need private headers. Is it still like this? I thought only legit CIA's are safe. I also red that someone was banned for playing online.. maybe i misunderstood. Any experience?

No it is safe to use any cia online at this time. No banning confirmed yet unless they were cheating etc. Cia uses the serial or something as a header so will always be unique

CIAs do not require headers. Only .3DS files.

Legit just means it was released as a bundle with a console
