I see that you made standalone emulators for Sega Master System and Game Gear, are there forwarders for these?
No, not yet but was planning on Master System next using the Hexaeco Sega Wide core.

In the meantime, i have spoke to @SaulFabre and asked permission to use his recompiled RA PicoDrive core as a standalone emulator. After some extra editing, i think i have figured out how to use older vanilla RA cores as standalone emulators without conflicts. More testing is needed but plan on releasing Neo Geo, Neo CD, Amstrad, and Sega 32X. These are all superior to anything else we have on the Wii and i have already made forwarder channels for these but unfortunately overlays/bezels are not supported.

These should be ready later tonight if all goes well in testings.

Oh wow, that would be fantastic! Is it possible to save paths, resolutions etc for these cores like we can in the HEXAECO emulators?

Yes, path / resolution saving is supported.

Neo CD runs beautiful and bin/cue is supported. Also this emulator is the only way to play Samurai Shodown RPG english translation.

Neo has been updated by Saul to be current. UniBios 4.0 is supported and large (VM) games are still supported.

Sega 32X supports save/load states and runs full speed without workatound.

Amstrad now supports autobooting both CPC and GX4000 games and is also current.

Great! I just set up NeoCD RX this evening actually and was wondering what I'd do with my games as they are not in the supported format, mine are all chd, does the RA core support that? If not, I can convert them back to bin + cue anyway. I'd prefer the options in RA also, I didn't see any options in NeoCD RX to change aspect ratio or resolution. I did plan on adding Samurai Shodown RPG,so that's very good news.

The NeoVM core I always used supports the larger roms and I have UniBios 4.0 already, what is the benefit of this new version?

I'll definitely switch to the new 32x core if it solves the issue of having to reload roms.

Thanks for working on these,it's breathing new life to my Wii in 2024!

Unfortunately no, chd is not supported.

After editing i was able to get RA 32X, Amstrad, NEO GEO as standalone but NEO CD will not cooperate. Oh well, worth a try.

I will say this, chd format is great and preferred when supported. Here is the size difference of my NEO CD sets after coverting/compressing...

BIN/CUE 40+ GB
BIN/CUE/MP3 11.5 GB
ISO/CUE/OGG/ 6.8 GB
CHD 24 GB

The ISO/CUE/OGG format took me so time converting recently but well worth it with the space it saves. My ears are not the greatest though, listening to loud music my entire life and working in a factory for 20 years. If your ears are sensitive maybe you can hear the difference in quality but .ogg audio will always be good enough for me.

I will be releasing new additions later tonight or tomorrow...RA 32X, RA Amstead, RA NEO, SS Master System, SS Game Gear, SS SG-1000 (i still need to find/create logos for the channel).

That's great news, I look forward to adding these to my system menu! Not having to reload 32X games will be a bonus. I like the idea of having standalone emulators for Master System and Game Gear too :)

Pity about Neo CD, it's a bit of a pain converting so I am not sure if I will go to that hassle. It would be great if niuus adds support for bin + cue and chd files for Neo CD RX in the future.

Many updates have been added to Gold & White forwarder sets. A brand new Dark set is now available as well, here are a few samples...

An underrated game in my opinion, an example of where the sequel superceded it in both gameplay and cult status with it's price/scarcity.
Yes, i am a fan of the game. One of many quality Neo games that for some reason has a bad reputation. I believe most of the negativity comes from internet lamers who have not actually played the game. Top Players Golf is another game i enjoy and still play that is far better than it gets credit for.

I must give it another go, the fact that the Neo Geo also has the best golf game ever in Neo Turf Masters means I never gave Top Player's Golf a fair shout!

It is not Neo Turf Masters but it is very solid imo. 1. Neo Turf Masters 2. PGA Tour Golf II ( Genesis) 3. Tiger Woods 2003 (GC) then everything else...:)
